We believe in wellbeing. And we are inspired by those people in our country who act as role models for wellbeing and vitality. That’s why we are proud to sponsor the very best in sport and recreation, so they can continue to inspire a nation.
The Cycology cycling team in Lagos is promoting the health benefits of cycling and staying fit while also raising awareness for social issues. One of these issues is the importance of having screening tests done to Know your Numbers for preventing disease and maintaining good health. In an event promoting both the benefits of cycling and the PathCare Know Your Numbers campaign, Cycology team members participated in a 45km health ride. To make sure they are in top form, every team member had their tests done and now know their numbers.
Cycling is a great way to keep fit and be outdoors, and is also an easier way to move easily through congested streets.
Partnering with PathCare Laboratories, professional cyclists can be seen moving easily through the traffic of Victoria Island to collect and deliver samples for pathology testing. Not only does this highlight PathCare’s drive for more environmentally friendly practices, for which they have been commended by the Lagos State Evironment Protection Agency (LASEPA), but also shows innovative thinking in delivering fast results to doctors and patients who need them.
Staying fit and strong is essential for our wellbeing. PathCare Laboratories has been supporting the Racing RFC, Lagos to take part in the HSBC Dubai 7s, the premier rugby tournament that kick starts the international platform for competition.
Through our involvement with Racing RFC we are raising the awareness and visibility of rugby in Nigeria as well as putting Nigeria on the map as a rugby playing nation.
We are proud to say that Racing RFC has produced five players for our National team, The Black Stallions in both the 15s and 7s games.
